Rare metal recycling
for the material nobody else understands
Oryx Metals buys and recycles complex, hard-to-handle metal-bearing materials worldwide, including minor metals, specialty alloys, spent catalysts, precious-metal-bearing materials, industrial residues, ores and concentrates.
HOW SELLING TO ORYX WORKS
From analyzer readout to payment in four steps
Not every material fits a standard grade. Send us the details and we’ll see what may be workable.
Send us the material
Send photos, an XRF or laboratory analysis if available, the material form, approximate quantity and location.
We evaluate it
Our team reviews the chemistry, contaminants, physical form and available processing routes to determine whether the material is workable.
You receive an offer
Where appropriate, we provide a written purchase offer based on agreed sampling, assay, weighing and settlement terms.
We handle the execution
Once agreed, we coordinate inspection, logistics, customs, and documentation and arrange payment according to the agreed terms.
ABOUT ORYX METALS
Complex materials require more than a scrap price
Oryx Metals is an international metals trading and recycling company specializing in minor metals, specialty metals and complex metal-bearing materials. Our business extends beyond conventional scrap. We regularly evaluate off-grade materials, production residues, mixed-metal powders, spent catalysts, sludges, filter cakes, concentrates, contaminated materials and other secondary raw materials containing recoverable metals.

Difficult materials
We actively evaluate contaminated, mixed, off-grade and unusual materials that conventional scrap buyers may reject.
Fair terms
Offers are based on recoverable metal content, processing economics and agreed sampling and assay procedures.
Real settlement
For complex lots, we can work with independent inspection, sampling and laboratory analysis where required.
Global markets
Our international processor network gives us multiple outlets for materials that may have little or no local market.

FAQs
What sellers ask about rare metal recycling
What do you need to give me a price?
Start with a few photos, any XRF or laboratory analysis you have, the physical form of the material, approximate quantity and its current location. For more complex material, we may request a representative sample or additional analysis before making a firm offer.
I don't know exactly what my material is, can you still help?
Yes. Many of the materials we receive are difficult to identify or don't fit a standard scrap grade. Send us photos and whatever information you have. If the material looks potentially workable, we'll tell you what additional analysis or sampling is needed.
Do you buy contaminated or mixed material?
Yes. This is one of our specialties. We regularly evaluate powders, sludges, filter cakes, dusts, spent catalysts, residues and mixed-metal materials. Contamination does not automatically make a material unworkable; the recoverable metal content and processing route determine whether we can buy it.
Why don't you publish scrap prices?
Many of the materials we buy cannot be priced from a simple commodity price. Value depends on metal content, impurities, physical form, recovery costs, location, quantity and the processing route available for that particular material.
Do you buy small quantities?
It depends on the material and value. High-value minor metals can sometimes be workable in relatively small quantities, while lower-value materials generally require larger commercial volumes
Can you handle international shipments?
Yes. We regularly work with material moving between countries and can coordinate freight, inspection, customs documentation and international shipment where appropriate
